1990 Toyota Corolla - Engine Vibration

My 1990 Toyota Corolla with 120,000 miles, and auto trans has an engine vibration while stopped at a stop sign or stoplight, especially when the AC is turned on. Once the revs pick back up the vibration goes away. Besides turning the idle way up, is there any way to stop the strong engine vibration. Thanks

Have seen it in other posts that excessive vibration can be due to worn out engine mounts. Also the idle speed should raise slightly with load(a/c, turning power steering etc) so possibly that isn't functioning properly.

Been trying to figure that one out since I got my 90. It had 127k when I got it, 146k now. No problems. This thing just keeps going. I did plugs, tuneup, FI cleaning, took to 3 independent shops. All said it was fine. I just finally gave up & drive it. I do not even notice any more. It never stalls or has ever failed me. Check what 90 GP says as these can cause problems. None of them were every mine though.
